Pans are HAND POURED. Hand Pouring pans is incredibly labor intensive and offers the purest form of professional watercolor half pans.
Palette with many characteristics of watercolour; some are transparent, some are opaque, some semi-transparent, some staining and some granulating. Some have two or even three of these characteristics. 
They are also largely single pigment colours, and they are carefully chosen to intermix, creating a world of colors.
Importantly, they are all reliable pigments with a lightfast rating of I or II for watercolour.”  
Pouring by hand offers the purest form of professional watercolor, requiring multiple pours over a period of several months to produce each half pan. Each half-pan color is also available individually as open stock.
